Lisa brings a fresh, modern perspective to the timeless art of portraiture and approaches each commission as a dialogue between artist and subject, expanding the boundaries of portrait art for a contemporary audience.

Some of her more well-known commissions include Steve Martin, Alanis Morisette, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, Mandy Patinkin, Harry Shearer and Judith Owen, and Jodie Foster.

As a New Yorker, Lisa draws inspiration from the energy of the city, which gives life to her abstract, landscape, and figurative pieces. Working in oil, acrylic, watercolor and charcoal, Lisa utilizes multiple cavas sizes and formats, bespoke for each commission, from large canvases to nesting doll series.

Her work as a scenic artist has appeared in numerous films, TV and Broadway productions including HBO’s sumptuous “The Gilded Age” and Netflix’s “The Diplomat”.
